( As I wrote on an earlier thread ) Yandoc is the master when drawing sullen, vengeful, misanthropic depictions of resentful, jealous, bitter humanity.

Got to appreciate his depictions of the worst, sweatiest, most heartless members of the human race.

More Yandoc always appreciated Joe.

The other thing I notice about Yandoc is that he seemed to use the same faces/expressions again and again in his work, and I can only assume that he literally superimposed faces on different characters in his strips -- maybe it was done for speed/turnover /demand. But check it out : especially in his DC work -- the exact same faces appear again and again in different scripts.

yeah, it's probably a speed thing, although it might just be that that's just how he drew. a bit like George Tuska, where you'd see the same faces and poses repeated over and over again through a life's work.

and, fear not, chum, there will always be more room for more Yandoc here on the Street. . .

Joe mate, these are just the cat's whiskers, the bees knees, the...alright,that's enough English 1960's slang,( I left UK many years ago, but old idiomatic habits linger) they are just excellent.

Any more chance of more Yandoc on your good pages sir?

Thanks!

I posted comment on your Jerry Grandenetti pages yesterday, but I think the post has disappeared into the cosmic void somewhere.

Nice one Guvna!
